  This report summarises the information provided by 347 people sleeping rough who engaged with services during the two-week count period of the Welsh Government rough sleeper count from 15th to 28th October 2018. The report collates the responses from 19 of the 22 Welsh Local Authorities in order to provide a national picture of the rough sleeper population. This should help partners to understand better the issues facing people and plan provision to better support them and help them into sustainable accommodation. •  Survey of Domestic Abuse Refuge Provision.pdf - May-2016

  This report has been prepared for the Domestic Abuse Housing Related Support Services Modernisation Group, which has been convened by the Local Authority Homelessness and Supporting People Networks. It presents the findings of a questionnaire investigating the standard of accommodation available for people within Domestic Abuse Services.

•  Homelessness Scoping and Mapping Study to Improve the Resettlement of Prisoners Coming Out of Custody.pdf - Feb-2015

  This report summarises the finding of work carried out from January to May 2014. It looks at the current arrangements for resettling prison leavers and suggests ways in which prisoner resettlement can be improved with the introduction of Transforming Rehabilitation, the introduction of the Community Rehabilitation Companies and the proposed removal of automatic priority need status for all those found homeless leaving prison.

  The 'Preparing to Prevent' Report looks at how prepared local authorities in Wales are for the homelessness changes. The Welsh Government’s Housing Act will have significant implications in relation to how local authorities tackle homelessness. With its emphasis on prevention, local authorities will need to ensure their services are structured and modelled appropriately to deliver on preventing homelessness.

  This guidance supplements the Welsh Government 2006 Local Housing Market Assessment guide. It sets out a quantitative approach to calculating housing need and an assessment of the local housing market, which can be used consistently across local authorities. It aims to help local authorities to undertake their own assessment of the housing market and to provide a starting point on which to build a more sophisticated understanding of their local housing markets.
