Resources - Mobility and Transport

The second of the Decarbonisation Masterclasses focussed on the priority theme of Mobility and Transport and featured case studies from three councils.


Pembrokeshire County Council presented on the Milford Haven: Energy Kingdom, a project that is exploring what a decarbonised hydrogen and renewables based smart energy system could look like for the Milford Haven Waterway. The project is carrying out an exciting pilot into hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

Isle of Anglesey County Council and Menter Mon provided an overview of the transformative hydrogen hub in Holyhead, and how this will help to decarbonise transport in North West Wales.

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council presented the proposal for their new Centre of Operations project which incorporates sustainable design and renewable energy to support the council on its journey to decarbonising its fleet.
